Uggcitrin

Get yours today!

I found this video recently on youtube. I literally laughed out loud and I agree so much with this. Take a look at the link here.

I completely understand that many people love Ugg boots. I hear they are very warm and comfortable, and quite expensive. I myself am not a huge fan, and never have been. I've also never been a fan of wearing leggings as pants. THEY AREN'T PANTS! Leggings/jeggings are simply opaque tights, not meant to be worn alone. Can you people please just at least cover your butt with a dress or long shirt? That's my personal rule. I completely say no to "pajama jeans." Those two words do not belong together.

It's been a while

I haven't posted anything since last year, wow. I just felt the need today to update this, just to write whether anyone is reading or not doesn't really matter. I renamed my blog to "On the Pursuit" because that's kind of the stage I'm going through. I'm on the pursuit of something, I just don't know exactly what it is or how it's all going to play out. I know one thing, God has given me talents and opportunities to use them. I know he has a plan for me, it's just the waiting that makes things hard.

Currently I'm working on some paintings for a church. I have do
ne about 10 large works with scripture and about five based on parables. Although I don't consider these paintings art per se, (considering they're more about aesthetics and decoration) they've made me work my brain and at least work on my skill. Today while I was painting I started to get that small breakthrough... something I want to explore further. Here's a sneak peak:
I am always enthralled by what paint does with water or turpentine. We'll see where this goes.
I'm thankful for this project and the others I'm working on since they are contributing to the "Chile fund."

As most of my friends know, my boyfriend Claudio is back in his home country along with the rest of his family. My plan when he left was to make it there in around six months. I have enough money for a plan ticket now, at least! I fell in love with the country when I went almost three years ago and I can't wait to be there again. For more reasons than that, obviously. I plane to stay for about two months. My small dream would be to get a job at an art museum giving tours in English, but we'll see about that one. For now, I have to keep taking it day-by-day and be patient with life.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
